Ben Healey

Ben in an employment and commercial solicitor based at our Blyth office.

Ben advises on all aspects of employment law, from drafting and preparing contracts and policies to representing clients before the employment tribunal.

Ben acts on behalf of employers preparing and advising upon employment contracts, director’s service agreements and company policies to managing redundancies and dismissals. He also acts on behalf of employers defending employment claims brought in both the Employment Tribunal and the County Court and High Courts.

He regularly advises and acts on behalf of employees in relation to enforcing their employment rights and negotiates settlement and compromise agreements on their behalf.

Ben has a particular interest in post termination restrictions and advises clients in relation to their suitability and enforceability

Ben also provides commercial business advice to companies, ranging from exciting one man start-ups to large regional firms. Ben assists in advising, negotiating and drafting a range of contracts to enable business to contract and communicate effectively with customers, clients and suppliers. He also assists clients with contractual disputes in the courts.

Ben is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Newcastle upon Tyne Employment Tribunal Users Group.
